Election Day is almost here. Early-voting turnout is already high, and that's good news because there is so much at stake this year.
As Christians, we stand for Jesus's teachings of love, truth, and peace -- but right now, Christian nationalism is attacking our democracy and the common good by preaching hatred, misinformation, and potential post-election political violence. And so many of the freedoms and values that we care deeply about are under attack.
That's why it's more important than ever that all of us vote.
And that's exactly what's happening! People from all walks of life are joining together to protect what we love and create a better future for ourselves and our neighbors -- and social-justice Christians could have a huge impact on the outcome if we commit to voting now.
Let's encourage one another to vote by making a public pledge together -- that way, we can show the press and the public that grassroots, social-justice Christians are turning out this year, no matter what.
