VICTORY UPDATE: On July 21, Verizon announced that it will drop OAN from the Fios TV lineup!
Faithful America's Christian members welcome this win for democracy and the positive effect it will have for truth and the common good -- and we call on the Roku Channel and Paramount's Pluto TV to follow Verizon's example of civic leadership.

The misinformation network One America News (OAN) -- a favorite media outlet of prominent far-right evangelicals and even Donald Trump himself -- is struggling to keep its business alive after being dropped from the DirecTV lineup.
Now, OAN is lashing out at anyone trying to rein in its Christian-nationalist rhetoric and misinformation -- including Verizon, which carries OAN on its streaming service Fios TV. And they’re getting Trump to join in on the fun.
Earlier this month, OAN White House correspondent Chanel Rion complained to Trump during an interview that "Verizon has now become one of the big telecom giants that is now attacking conservative voices like OAN," simply because Verizon offers an online "Guide to Misinformation." The website doesn't even mention OAN, yet Trump gleefully agreed that "OAN has been treated very terribly."
Media platforms like Verizon are key to stopping the misinformation and lies that have wreaked havoc on our churches, our communities, and our democracy. But publishing a generic guide and asking viewers to check pieces of information themselves isn’t nearly enough.
Let's gather 10,000 15,000 signatures to show Verizon executives that a nationwide movement of Christians wants them to take the next, necessary step in the fight against fascist misinformation and drop OAN completely.
