Tell the U.S. Catholic bishopsSpeak out against Trump's anti-immigrant cruelty

Posted: Oct. 22, 2025

Across the country, the Trump regime is expanding its attacks on our immigrant neighbors -- and it is beyond time for the USCCB (The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops) to speak out with moral clarity against it.

During a recent meeting at the Vatican, Pope Leo XIV urged U.S. Catholic bishops to confront the treatment of immigrants under the Trump administration. He told refugees who petitioned him for help, "You stand with me and I stand with you," and called on the bishops to be "more united and more forceful" in defense of immigrant rights.

Convincing the U.S. Catholic bishops to make a strong statement in favor of justice for immigrants will require significant public pressure. The USCCB is holding its annual gathering in November -- which means they need to hear from grassroots social-justice Catholics and ecumenical allies now. Add your name and tell the USCCB to follow Pope Francis and put out a statement opposing Trump's immigration policies now:
