Tell Texas Lt. GovernorKeep the Ten Commandments out of public school

Posted: April 28, 2025

In 2023, more than 15,000 Faithful America members helped defeat a bill in Texas to force the King James Version of the Ten Commandments to be displayed in every public classroom.

In 2024, we took action again and challenged the Texas Board of Education for encouraging a Bible-based curriculum for public schools.

Now in 2025, the Texas legislature is doubling down on their attack on the separation of church and state -- and risking their children's education in the process. Three of Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick's top 2025 legislative priorities center around bringing Christianity into state funded education. This includes displaying the Ten Commandments, mandating prayer time during the school day, and granting public funding to private, religious schools.

Texas has been forced to back down from these efforts due to public pressure before. That's why we have to keep speaking up and protecting every child's right to quality education and every parent's right to pass on their faith in their own way.

Tell Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick that social justice Christians will always be there to protect the separation of church and state.
