Tell Trump's Department of JusticeDrop charges against church volunteer for helping migrants

Posted: May 26, 2019

Scott Warren could face 20 years in federal prison when he goes on trial this Wednesday. His alleged crime? Aiding migrants near the U.S.-Mexico border.

Scott volunteers with No More Deaths--a ministry of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tucson that compassionately provides water, food, socks, blankets, and emergency first-aid treatments along the border.

Yet in a move cruel even for this administration, President Trump’s Department of Justice has charged Scott with two counts of “harboring” undocumented immigrants and one count of “conspiracy” - all for giving migrants water and medical aid.

There’s not much time before Wednesday's hearing: Let's show how many Christians are outraged by this crackdown on a Good Samaritan for providing humanitarian aid.
