Tell the State DepartmentChristians oppose Trump's proposed ban on refugees

President Trump's already cruel mistreatment of refugees is about to get even worse: A new report says the administration is considering banning all new refugees from entering the United States.

All across the country, Christian leaders are rallying against the President's inhumane proposal. Many of the nation's refugee-resettlement agencies are faith-based -- and they're not holding back.

According to Tim Breene, the CEO of World Relief, "Americans of faith should recognize and respond to this assault on our call to protect the 'least of these' -- especially as a country where most citizens profess to be Christians."

"I strongly oppose any further reductions of the refugee resettlement program," agreed Bishop Joe Vasquez, who leads the Catholic bishops' refugee resettlement agency. "Offering refuge to those fleeing religious and other persecution has been a cornerstone of what has made this country great and a place of welcome."

How we act in these threatening times could define our country -- and our faith -- for decades to come. Faith-based refugee-resettlement agencies need our voices behind them today!
