OAN has been dropped by Verizon and DirecTV, but the disinformation network has managed to keep a foothold with one small but extremely meaningful market: taxpayer-funded U.S. military bases.
One America News Network (OAN) has a long record of spreading election denial and COVID-19 lies, propping up Christian nationalist politicians and talking heads, and passing along Russian propaganda about the war in Ukraine -- something that has absolutely no place on our military bases.
It's no wonder the channel is Donald Trump's favorite Christian-nationalist purveyor of far-right "news" and disinformation.
Yet at least nine domestic military bases, plus one overseas -- the massive Ramstein Air Base in Germany -- are giving America's troops access to OAN's conspiracy theories, election denial, and non-stop hatred and bigotry.
Let's tell President Biden and the Department of Defense that Christians don't want to see our service members indoctrinated by OAN's anti-democracy Christian nationalism!
