Good news: The House Judiciary Committee voted this month to pass the NO BAN Act! Bad news: President Trump is still pushing forward with expanding his cruel and unconstitutional Muslim ban to include six new countries.
As Christians, we must heed Jesus' call to love our neighbors -- and reject Trump's hateful fear-mongering. Unfortunately, the religious right disagrees: Franklin Graham has been calling for a Muslim ban for even longer than Trump himself, and a Pew poll found that 76% of white evangelicals approve of the ban.
But there is more good news: That same Pew poll found that no other major Christian group supports the ban. We need a grassroots movement of Christians to show Congress that the religious right does not speak for us, and finally end Trump's cruel and unnecessary Muslim ban by passing the NO BAN Act.
