Tell movie theater chain CEOsDon't help insurrectionist pastor Greg Locke spread hatred and lies

Insurrectionist pastor Greg Locke -- a frequent speaker and even host of Michael Flynn's anti-democracy ReAwaken America megachurch tour -- is releasing a movie he claims will help people cast out the "demons" that supposedly cause homosexuality, feminism, and Catholicism.

It's a hateful, bigoted premise on its face. Yet multiple mainstream movie theater chains plan to promote "Come Out In Jesus Name," helping Locke spread his twisted brand of faith.

Locke has made a name for himself through his over-the-top demonstrations of aggression and bigotry –-- praying with the Proud Boys, going to Washington for January 6, burning books, throwing mask-wearing worshipers out of church, preaching that Christians can’t be Democrats, and accusing women in his congregation of witchcraft.

Now, Locke wants to take his warped version of Christianity mainstream -- and unfortunately, several big corporations are lining up to help him do so. On March 13, well-known movie theater chains including AMC, Cinemark, Regal and more will deliver Locke's deadly message to theater-goers across the country, even broadcasting a live "deliverance" session with Locke after the film.

Let's join together as Christians and tell these movie theater companies to drop this promotional vehicle for Greg Locke's hate immediately.

Dear executives of AMC, Cinemark, Marcus, and Regal Movies,

As Christian customers, we ask that you not show the movie "Come Out in Jesus Name" from Greg Locke on March 13.

Locke is an anti-Catholic insurrectionist with a long history of spreading misinformation, twisting the Gospel, and provoking anger and violence in Jesus's name. His movie seeks to use your theaters to convert people to his anti-feminist, anti-science, anti-democracy, pseudo-Christian ideology.

Locke is known for going to Washington for the failed coup of January 6, 2021; speaking and praying with the Proud Boys the night before the insurrection; calling Pope Francis a "pimp" and Catholicism a "fake religion"; burning books and rosary beads; spreading anti-vaccine disinformation; threatening to throw mask-wearing worshipers out of church; preaching that we Christians can't be Democrats; denying election results; and accusing women in his congregation of witchcraft.

Movie theaters should be places where people find fun and entertainment -- not venues that spread and profit from anti-Catholic hatred, anti-science rhetoric, election denial, and unholy Christian nationalism. While we appreciate your desire to support free speech and a robust civic debate featuring all sides, that shouldn't mean giving a platform to obvious and deadly misinformation or discrimination.

As Christian consumers and members of your community, we ask you to drop "Come Out In Jesus Name" and cut all ties with Greg Locke immediately. Thank you.
