Ask Sarah Huckabee SandersDoes Huckabee's racism speak for the Sarah Sanders campaign?

At a time when hate crimes against Asian Americans continue to rise, Mike Huckabee has posted a racist, transphobic tweet, writing, "I've decided to 'identify' as Chinese. Coke will like me, Delta will agree with my 'values'... Ain't America great?"

In response, Baptist Bible teacher Beth Moore wrote to the former Arkansas governor and Southern Baptist pastor, "Mike, I've shared a meal with you at your beautiful table. I've heard you profess Christ as Lord. This is entirely antithetical to the gospel."

Rep. Ted Lieu wondered if Huckabee's daughter Sarah Huckabee Sanders -- the former Trump spokesperson now running for her dad's old job -- condones her father's remarks: "You defended the former President's use of racist phrases... Do you condone Mike Huckabee adding fuel to anti-Asian hate?"

That's a good question, especially since candidate Sanders is also vocal about faith. Let's show her that if she's going to seek office, her fellow Christians expect her to honor the God-given dignity of Asians and Asian Americans by making it clear Mike Huckabee's white supremacy does not speak for her campaign, whether as a close adviser or as her party's former governor.
