Our faith leads us to support love, truth, and peace -- not bigotry, conspiracy theories, and insurrection. Yet Donald Trump continues to enjoy the overwhelming support of evangelical leaders who blasphemously frame him as some "anointed" messianic figure in spite of his thirst for hatred, vengeance, and violence.
Whether he's selling Bibles or pushing blasphemous videos positioning himself as God's chosen candidate, Trump's strategy in this campaign is clear: Embrace Christian nationalism to propel himself back into power.
But white evangelical Christianity does not represent the entire Christian faith. Most American Christians reject the violent Christofascism and Christian nationalism that Trump and MAGA stand for, and will continue to peacefully do so throughout this election season and beyond, standing instead for love, equality, peace, and freedom for all.
In 2020, Faithful America members worked hard to stop Donald Trump's reelection -- and we're doing it again in 2024. At this pivotal moment for our country, let's speak out once more as Christians and make it clear that Donald Trump does not represent our values -- and will never have our votes.
