Hi,
Indicted ex-president Donald Trump recently won the Iowa caucus by a sizable margin, officially making him the front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. Trump continues to twist our faith on the campaign trail, and sadly, far-right Christians are playing a key role in his electoral success -- entrance polls taken before the caucus showed Trump holding the support of more than 50% of self-identified born-again evangelicals.
As Christians, we seek to live our lives according to the Gospel's values of love, equality, and dignity -- values that Trump clearly rejects. I just signed a statement from Faithful America making it clear that no matter what he says about religion, Trump does not share my values and will never have my vote.
