From Catholic bishops to Southern Baptists, Christian leaders of every theological and political persuasion have condemned the Trump administration's new policy of ripping refugee children away from their parents at the border - and the administration is clearly feeling the heat.
Lashing out at what he called "our church friends" for being "not logical," Attorney General Jeff Sessions yesterday invoked the Apostle Paul out of context to claim that "God has ordained" the immigration laws he claims to be enforcing.
With religious pressure building on the Trump administration, now is the time to raise our voices and show just how many everyday Christians are demanding an end to this cruel policy - and to the heartless hijacking of our faith.
