Tell HarperCollins and Bible GatewayDrop James Dobson as your "ministry partner"

Posted: July 5, 2019

James Dobson, the religious-right author, is known for his discrimination against women, immigrants, and the LGBT community.

After visiting the border on a trip arranged by the Trump White House, the Family Talk founder endorsed Trump's wall and wrote that the immigrants, many of whom are legally requesting asylum, "are illiterate and unhealthy. Some are violent criminals. Their numbers will soon overwhelm the culture."

In a series of recent misogynistic blog posts, Dobson also implied that women should stay at home while men work. He has previously compared homosexuality to pedophilia.

Here's our question: Why is HarperCollins Publishers still supporting Dobson and his hateful agenda?

Family Talk lists the HarperCollins website Bible Gateway as a "ministry partner," and Bible Gateway publishes three devotionals from Dobson's books each day. We must make it clear to Bible Gateway that Christians oppose Dobson's discrimination.
