Tell Michigan senate and governorChristians oppose discrimination. Stop the "religious freedom" bill.

Michigan could be poised to pass a new "religious freedom" bill that would allow individuals and businesses to discriminate against whoever they wish, so long as they claim a religious motivation.

Doctors could decline to treat gay patients. Pharmacists could deny women birth control. Landlords could evict unmarried couples.

Unfortunately, some Michigan Christians -- including the state's Catholic bishops -- have become the public face of this right-wing crusade. They've already convinced the Republican-dominated state house to pass this legislation, and the state senate majority leader says he might bring it up for a vote this week.

We need a huge national outcry to show Michigan's leaders that Christians across the country are outraged that our faith is being exploited to justify hatred and discrimination.
